What a pleasure to discover „Book Dash“ at the BCBF!

What a pleasure to discover „Book Dash“ from South Africa at the Bologna Book Fair! Book Dash is a non-profit organisation that wants to bring books to people who don’t own books because they are not affordable for them. 

At Book Dash, writers, illustrators, designers and editors have 12 hours to make a brand new picturebook. 

All of their books are open-licensed. That means, everybody can read them, print them, translate and adapt them to further increase access to books for all. 

At the Bologna Book Fair, we could meet and watch a team working on a book. Thanks for letting us get an impression of the creative process of making these books!
